This boy is ready to take the world by storm with his loving charm and puppy energy. Being a cattle dog, Jack-Jack would love to go to home with a decent-sized backyard where he can exert some energy each day. If you don't have a big backyard but you do lead an active lifestyle - or need a companion to come to work with you each day, this would be great too!

Jack-Jack will also require a lot of mental enrichment to keep his smart brain active and fulfilled. We can't pretend that owning a Cattle Dog mix is easy - he will test your patience, but where is the satisfaction at the end if it is perfectly easy? Without mental and physical exercise working breed dogs can often fall astray to destructive behaviours, and Jack will be no exception. We also recommend some sort of ongoing training or agility for Jack, working dogs usually excel at these sorts of sporting activities - we think he will bring you home lots of trophies!

Our boy has all the smarts to be the goodest boy that there ever was, but he will need your help to get there. He seeks out affection and interaction with people, but sometimes just isn't quite in tune enough with his emotions to portray it properly - this sometimes translates to some really silly behaviour but it is easy to manage with treats and positive reinforcement. Our very skilled Adoptions staff can show you the easy ways to help Jack settle with you and show you his best sides.

Jack-Jack has also shown he may be suitable to go home with another doggo. He would do well in a home with another dog that matches his energy and can help wear him out on the daily. Come on, if you've already got one or two dogs ... surely you have room for a little Jack-Jack in your life?
