About Pi
Meet our sweet gentle “Pi”
Please read Pi’s story…
This boy is looking for a Border Collie loving quiet home. He has had a rough and sad start to life which is all a bit of a mystery to everyone. Pi was caught as a stray that had been roaming for over 7mths and fending for himself. We wish he could tell us his story but all we know is that he was a super timid and scared little boy. He has a scar on his face and is missing part of his rear leg.
Pi is exactly the type of dog that really needs rescuing, he is a boy who needs a beautiful person to give him a chance. Someone that will show him everything is going to be all good from now on. Someone to show him love, show him kindness and understanding. Pi will melt your heart every day in every way. You will feel sad for him, happy for him, proud of him, and total love for him. He is one in a million and we love him so much and want the very very best home for him.
We have worked very hard to build confidence in Pi and he has come a very long way. He will however take time and patience and a very special gentle person to show him love. Pi doesn’t have a mean bone in his body, he would never hurt anyone. He may hide or shake meeting new people and will most likely only really come out of his shell for one or two special people but after you show him love his sweet personality will slowly emerge.
Pi is in care with other dogs and also cats. He is toilet trained and crate trained. He gets around amazingly with his gimpy leg; we don’t think he knows there is no foot on it lol. He has started playing with toys and is a great listener and obeys your commands well.
If you have a loving heart and are patient and gentle in nature, Pi would love to come and learn life with you. He will steal your heart and be forever grateful for his 2nd chance.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a secure yard.
• Pi will not be alone for more than 8 hrs
• You are willing to be patient and loving
• You will allow Pi to be part of the family and will allow him access to indoors with you.
PLEASE NOTE: if you provide basic details or do not meet the above criteria, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Medical notes
We believe Pi has had an amputation of part of his rear leg at some stage. There is no treatment required and Pi gets around competly fine.

** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
