About Maisie
*In foster care in Woollahra, Sydney*
Marvellous in every way, Maisie is a curious, playful, and calm little girl on a journey of discovery!
Found fending for herself on the streets when she was just seven weeks old, she's slowly learning to trust humans and adapt to her surroundings. She's a bit shy on first meeting, but she warms up quickly to those who offer her scratches, plenty of playtime, and a calm, cosy space where she can feel safe and loved.
Like all Maggie's pets, Maisie is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be relaxed and quiet, with warm spots to snooze and heaps of toys to keep me entertained! During the day I tend to hide away from the noisy world and nap, but I also enjoy playing and cuddling with my foster brother - so having another kitty friend to hang out with and learn from would be amazing!
If you appreciate the value of earning a cat's love and affection, and can spend quality time with me, I promise you'll be rewarded with lots of silly antics and sweet companionship :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Likely lower than some kittens, but once a toy comes out I can't say no! Sleeping is my activity of choice during the day - but when the sun goes down, watch out! I like to have a big playtime sesh, before making some biscuits on your lap and heading off for another snooze.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Unfortunately young children might be a bit too high-energy for me. I think I'd prefer a small household with adults only or older kids of at least school age (or even better, 10+) where I can have the space I need to learn and grow at my own pace.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I adore my foster brother and follow him around everywhere. I'd love another cat in my new home to bond with, and to help me gain confidence!
I haven't had any experience with dogs at this stage.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
