Meet Crookshanks, the charming ginger and white kitten with a personality as unique as his namesake from the wizarding world! Much like Hermione Granger’s famous feline, our Crookshanks can be a bit of a bossy boots. Rescued from the streets by a lovely lady on a cold, wet night a couple of months ago, Crookshanks has come a long way. He was quickly brought into care to warmed up, and while with us he has revealed some of his secrets.

Crookshanks likes to come off as aloof and independent, often pretending he’s not that interested in people. But don’t be fooled! If you’re patient and kind, this little guy will transform into a real snuggle bug. Give him time, and he may even grace you with his gentle purrs, a true sign of his affection. He’s a bit of a mystery, but the reward of gaining his trust and love is truly magical.

Crookshanks isn’t a fan of loud noises or bustling environments, so he’s on the lookout for a calm, serene home. He’s not one for the hustle and bustle of a busy household, especially one with children. This selective kitty doesn’t love everyone—he chooses his humans carefully. So, if you’re hosting a dinner party, don’t expect him to be all over your guests. In fact, they’ll be considered the lucky chosen few if he even lets them see him!

All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way, this is for their safety and health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you let them know if you cannot make an appointment.
