About Skye
Skye is an exuberant, lively dog who is constantly eager to please. She's highly intelligent and quick to learn new skills. With her cheerfulness and vivacity, she promises endless joy and companionship to her future family.
Skye might be a little unsure in new spaces, but she's been steadily gaining confidence and showing resilience. She needs a loving family that can support her through these experiences—offering comfort and encouragement, and introducing her to the bountiful experiences that the world outside can offer her.
Despite her initial hesitation around cars and travel, Skye has shown impressive progress, fearlessly stepping into her foster carer’s vehicle now. This persistence and adaptability demonstrate her courage and her ability to overcome discomfort.
Skye is most content when socializing with other dogs, and she absolutely enjoys zooming about with a playmate. Exercise is also her thing, so prepare for some fun and invigorating outdoor activities with her!
Skye's ideal environment includes a super secure yard, given her knack for escapades. But with the squeak of her favorite toy and the call of her beloved humans, Skye will never veer too far away.
She's an accomplished escape artist if left alone, yet this reflects her fun-loving and adventurous spirit. With adequate attention, playtime, and companionship, Skye will bloom into a perfect family dog.
Whether you're seeking a workout buddy, a support dog, or a lively family pet, Skye is ready to be that and so much more. She's waiting to bring her vibrant spirit and unbounded devotion to a new family that will love her as she deserves.

Adoption details
We like to take the personal approach where a person sends an email of interest around an animal and then we will follow up with phone discussions and email exploration through a survey.
Please note we are a small group of volunteers that balances the administrative side with the care of the animals.
Please only apply for one of our animals if you are genuinely interested in them.
We expect the prospective owner to travel to meet the animal and we are open to trial periods to ensure we have the match right.
