About Mabel
Mabel's early days were marked by hardship. Used solely for breeding, she endured neglect once her usefulness waned. Left malnourished and uncared for, the scars of her ordeal were etched into her body, visible signs of the concrete floors she slept on and the poor nutrition she endured.
Despite her challenging past, Mabel emerged with a resilient spirit and a heart full of affection. She craves human touch, relishing every opportunity to cuddle close. While she values her independence, she thrives in the company of people or a friendly canine companion. Cats may give her pause, but she maintains a cautious respect.
Mabel is gentle but exuberant. She's discovering the joy of toys, embracing playful moments with newfound enthusiasm. Her favorite retreats are soft, cozy beds, a luxury she's come to cherish.
In terms of training, Mabel is adept at using puppy pads and artificial grass trays, making her a tidy housemate. Her health history includes past struggles with skin and ear issues, resulting in one floppy ear due to a collapsed hematoma.
Mabel thrives in indoor environments and could easily adapt to apartment living, provided there's access to an outdoor space for her toileting needs. Overall, she embodies a loving spirit, eager to shower affection on a caring family that appreciates her gentle, playful nature.
Medical notes
Mabel is deaf in her right ear.
