About Bear
ADOPTION GUIDELINES
ONLY DOG - PREVIOUS BREED EXPERIENCE PREFERRED - GROOMING AND DAILY EXERCISE REQUIRED - INDOOR/OUTDOOR ACCESS - TEENAGE CHILDREN
When you first meet Bear, he may be obedient rather than overtly super social. Give him time, he will warm to you. Bear likes to know what is expected of him and he will do what you ask if he knows how to do it. Good thing is he is typically Border Collie smart, so teaching him new things is possible.
He was surrendered to the RSPCA by a family who was travelling and could not take him with them. Ideally the new owner of Bear needs to be physically fit and able to walk Bear daily. His lovely thick coat will require regular grooming and that will take Bear a bit of getting used to. Therefore, a softly-softly approach will be required to get Bear used to this. Bear has shown himself to have some lovely manners and greets other dogs with skill.
The adoption fee for BEAR $395.00 which helps to cover the cost of mandatory de-sexing, vaccinations, microchip and a lot of care from the RSPCA crew. Who says you can't buy love?!
