Good day Mate! My name is Hugo, pleasure to meet you!

I've been in foster care for a little bit while I've been on the mend after I had a bit of a run in with a vehicle. I have been given a second chance at a happy ending and I am really hoping you will be part of that. It was so great to be in a loving environment! I can't wait until I'm in my furrever home to feel the love every single day.

My foster carers said I am such a sweet dog and that I settled into their home very quickly! They also made a point to really stress that I loooooove cuddles!
The thing my foster carers thought was the cutest about me was that I love sleeping completely wrapped up in blankets, including burying my head under the blankets like a cocoon! Warm and cozy all the way!

Ideally, I would like my new family to consist of people over the age of 12 - I have no concept of my size and I tend to crash into things and I would hate to knock over any little youngies in the home. Everything is so exciting right now that sometimes I forget to walk like a gentleman but I am currently learning how to walk loosely on the lead when out for a walk, so I will need my forever family to be happy to work on this with me. My foster carer was taking me to cafes regularly and I adored the attention, exercise (and the odd pup-a-chino).

I know that technically I'm 4 years old... but let's be real, growing up is boring and I'm here to have fun! I will forever be a puppy at heart and would looooove a big backyard to zoom around in!

I'm a smart boy and love to learn new skills. So far I have learnt how to sit and drop! I would love my forever family to continue training with me as I'm super keen to learn more skills using treats. My favourite sneaky treat is trying to lick the Greek yoghurt off my foster carers spoon when she isn't looking - lucky she said it's okay for dogs to have a little taste of this every now and then.

I wouldn't mind a canine buddy in the household but I need to find JUST the right one for me. I have met other dogs and while I am not negative towards other dogs, I am A LOT of energy so that doesn't always make other pup friends very impressed. I'd love another boisterous friend in the household who can match my energy and won't get annoyed when I want to play.
