Monnie is a beautiful kitty with a story she can’t share with us, but one we can feel in her gentle, cautious nature. Coming from what is likely a traumatic past, Monnie has shown remarkable resilience and has started to find comfort in her foster home. However, she’s still on a journey of healing, and even small changes can unsettle her delicate progress.

We’re searching for a truly special person – a “unicorn” – who can offer Monnie the patience, understanding, and nurturing she needs to continue blossoming. Monnie’s ideal human will be someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to move at her pace. She will initially hide or “freeze” in unfamiliar situations, so her new companion will need to be gentle, consistent, and offer her a safe, quiet environment and understand trust is built over time.

With love and stability, we believe Monnie will learn to feel secure and maybe even show you her softer, playful side in time. Adoption fee includes vet check, F3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment, microchip - including the transfer of ownership - and sterilisation.

ADOPTION DETAILS
To apply to adopt, please complete a SAFE Cat Adoption Enquiry Form via our website. You will be advised if your chosen cat is still available and then put in contact with the carer for a chance to ask further questions. If a meet-and-greet is then arranged, we will email the adoption paperwork and payment instructions to you prior to this. Please note payment must be made before adoption trial starts and we are unable to take cash payment.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen cat is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Bunbury will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet's microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
