May is a timid but lovely feline looking for a gentle and patient family. She has a soft and serene, keep-to-herself personality that households with a calm lifestyle will find endearing.

Unfortunately, May did not come to the shelter in the best condition, she was abandoned in a box outside the shelter, matted to the skin. Her beautiful, long coat had to be shaved due to large matts impeding her ability to move and causing discomfort.

Knowing what May has experienced, it's understandable that May is cautious and unsure of people, however in spite of what she has been through she is a quiet, serene cat, looking for an understanding and kind family to help her understand that people can be kind.

May is often be found relaxing up on her cat tree watching the world go by or sunbaking throughout the day. She enjoys tranquil moments to herself, especially when it involves snuggling up in her blankets

May is looking for an indoor-only home where she can be kept safe and never have to worry about being abandoned again. She loves the security of being inside, away from the hustle of the outside world.

She is looking for a loving family that will understand her need for quiet and patience. With the right amount of kindness, time and understanding, May will slowly but surely learn to trust again.
