About Luna - 2 Year Old Husky X German Shepherd (Trial)
Say hello to Luna, a loving, gentle, and nurturing dog who’s ready to find her forever home. She arrived in our care as a skinny mumma with a one-week-old litter of puppies. Now that all her pups have found their homes, it’s Luna’s turn to shine.
For the first two years of her life, Luna lived with a family of six young children, which has finely tuned her nurturing instincts. She’s a cuddle enthusiast who loves to snuggle up, whether it’s with her human family or her doggie friends. With her soft, plush fur, Luna is simply made for cuddling.
Luna is not only affectionate but also incredibly smart. She learns quickly, especially when there are food rewards involved. She’s mastered walking on a lead and stays calmly by your side most of the time ... unless she sees a bird or duck!
Luna is well-mannered on walks, greeting new people with delight and possibly just a little too much enthusiasm. This can be sorted with a continuation of her training, we think she'll make a perfect companion for coffee shop visits and family outings.
Yard time is Luna’s playtime. She loves to do rumble-tumbles with her foster brother as well as zoomies. Luna exhibits excellent doggy manners when playing or meeting other dogs. She would thrive in a home with another dog to play with or with someone who is home most of the time to keep her company. She hasn’t shown any interest in jumping fences or digging, but good fencing is essential for her safety.
Luna is a wonderful dog— sociable, well-behaved, easy to train, and gentle with kids. While she might not do well with cats, she’s eager to be a part of a loving family. Could you be the special person to welcome Luna into your home?
Luna is in care in Fullerton Cove, NSW. She has been desexed, treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped. Adoption fee is $500.
