About Ginger
Meet Ginger: The Purring Machine Who Deserves a Second Chance
Ginger was found on the streets, fending for himself after being abandoned by his owner. His story is heart-wrenching but also a testament to his incredible spirit and resilience.
His previous owners abandoned him because he had (FIV), a condition he acquired because they never vaccinated, desexed, or even microchipped him. Left to face the world alone, Ginger was hit by a car. Thankfully, we rushed him to the vet and found a beautiful carer to foster him.
Despite his tough past, Ginger is a true gem and ticks all the boxes:
✅ Desexed, microchipped, and vaccinated
✅ Flea and worm treatments
✅ Kid-friendly
✅ Affectionate and cuddly
✅ Lapcat
✅ Purring machine
Ginger embodies all the qualities that make a perfect companion. He is ready to fill your home with love, purrs, and endless cuddles.
Please give Ginger the chance to find a forever family where he can truly shine.
If you can open your heart and home to Ginger, please contact us. Let's give this sweet boy the happy ending he deserves.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
