About Shelly
Meet our lovely Shelly. She is one in a million little cross-eyed girl (your very own Clarance the cross eyed lion). Shelly is slightly vision impaired due to being cross eyed but gets around totally fine when familiar with her environment. She is a sweet girl who likes to come to you for gentle pats. Due to poor eyesight she is terribly fearful of being picked up so will need a family that is willing to receive affection on her terms.
Shelly loves to play and chase balls that jingle or anything that makes a noise. She is completely litter trained and in an inside only cat. We are looking for a loving, caring, and patient home to give gorgeous Shelly the chance she deserves. She is a special needs cat that needs a beautiful special home.
Medical notes
Shelly is cross eyed, this makes it very difficult for her to focus. She is vision impaired but very capable of working out her environment.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
