About Tippy
Meet Tippy: The Adorable Foxie Cross
Tippy is an irresistibly cute little Foxie cross who is sure to steal your heart. Found as a stray without a microchip, Tippy was never reclaimed by her original owners. Now, she's eagerly awaiting her forever home at BARC.
Tippy has a special fondness for people and thrives in an environment where someone is home with her most of the time. She also enjoys the company of other dogs and is currently part of a playgroup at the shelter, where she gets along wonderfully with her canine friends.
When it comes to walks, Tippy is a delight on the lead and loves to explore her surroundings. Her affectionate nature makes her a joy to be around, and she's especially fond of older children (aged 8 and up), who she interacts with beautifully.
Since arriving at the shelter, Tippy has grown significantly in confidence. However, she may need a bit of time to adjust and settle into her new home before fully displaying her loving personality.
If you're looking for a loving and playful companion, Tippy could be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet her at BARC and see if she's the one you've been searching for!
To book a meet and greet with Tippy please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
