Braxley: Your Spirited Companion for Life's Adventures!
Meet Braxley! True to his age and breed, he has boundless energy and a heart full of love! This charismatic pup is on the lookout for a loving family who can match his enthusiasm for life.
About Braxley: Braxley is a playful blend of German Shorthaired Pointer and Cattle Dog, making him not only handsome but also intelligent and eager to please. At just 8 months old, he's already showing his potential as a loyal companion.
Ideal Home: He would thrive in a home with older children (over 10 years old) who are dog-savvy and can match his energy levels and understand his playful nature. Braxley would also do well with someone who's home often and can provide him with the attention and activity he craves. An ideal setting for him would be a spacious backyard or even better, a farm where he can have a job to do, keeping him engaged and happy.
Personality and Behaviour: Braxley loves being around people and is happiest when he's involved in family activities. He's still learning to be gentle with younger children, so older kids would be ideal. While he hasn't had a lot of exposure to the outside world yet, he's eager to explore and will benefit from patient guidance as he navigates new experiences. He hasn't been tested with cats or pocket pets yet. He's house trained, getting used to sleeping in his crate at night, and although he needs a little help with leash manners, he's incredibly smart and food motivated, making training a joy.
Health and Care: Braxley has been desexed, received his first vaccination, and is microchipped, ensuring he's ready for his forever home.
Special Considerations: While Braxley is great with humans, he can be cautious around other dogs when it comes to sharing toys or food. He thrives with structure and would benefit from a home with secure fencing, as he's already shown a knack for clearing baby gates!
Why Braxley? If you're seeking a devoted companion who's as eager for adventure as he is for affection, Braxley could be your perfect match. His intelligence, loyalty, and boundless energy make him an excellent candidate for an active family who can provide him with both mental stimulation and plenty of playtime.
