About Abbey
Abbey would love a family all for her own! she needs someone who is around during the day as she would happily sit on your lap and gaze at you all day. Abbey would also enjoy visiting grandkids (over 6 years) as she loves everyone, especially children. She enjoys a quick play of fetch with her stuffed toys and is up for a game of tug-o-war. Abbey needs to be rehomed where there are no stairs as, like most tiny dogs, stairs can be very wearing on their joints. Abbey is a tiny girl weighing only 1. 8kg and for this reason she is not suitable to a home with very young children. She is of course a housedog and must sleep in your bed and will climb to the bottom of the covers and sleep there all night. Abbey feels the cold so lots of warm blankets are a must and she loves cuddles and tummy scratches. Abbey is housetrained and only barks if a stranger approaches, she loves walks and car rides and is the first into the car when it’s time to go out. She is happy to be brushed and bathed as long as there is a cuddle at the end and is good with cats but will growl at them if you are giving them attention she should get! abbey is happy to be an only dog provided her new family are available most of the day otherwise the company of another tiny chihuahua or toy sized dog is a must. Abbey comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw.
