About Ruby
Time to curl up on your couch and read all about the silly, playful and loving Ruby!!
Meet Ruby, a stunning grey tabby with a heart of gold. Poor Ruby found herself in a pound, in desperate need of love and care. We couldn't let her languish there a moment longer, so we brought her into our village and gave her the loving she deserves.
Ruby has been in foster care for a month now, and we are so impressed with how she has flourished. She's shown us her playful, energetic side, and her love for life makes us smile every day. She loves running around and playing with the other cats she is currently in foster care with and she has discovered feather toys are quite fun! although we do think her most favourite things to play with are her foster mums plants! Ruby is a joy to be around, and her affectionate personality is sure to win you over.
Ruby is not all just fun and games! Ruby loves to be by her humans side. When it's time to wind down, this beauty enjoys nothing more than snuggling up for some love and affection. She revels in the warmth of a cozy lap and will reward you with her purrs.
Ruby is now ready for her next adventure! She's looking for a forever family with lots of love to give and a warm lap to curl up on. If you're looking for a playful and affectionate companion, then Ruby may just be the perfect match for you!

Ruby is up to date with flea and worming treatments. Ruby is microchipped, vaccinated and booked in to be desexed. Ruby and all other village tail cats are indoor only.
Her adoption fee is $200 and is in foster care at Crestmead.

Our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way, from your initial interest to the joyful day you bring your new friend home.
How to Adopt: A Step-By-Step Guide:
1. Browse Our Selection: Visit our Animals page and use the menu to view the various pets we have available. Choose between cats and dogs to narrow your search.
2. Expression of Interest: Found a pet that captures your heart? Reach out to us for an Expression of Interest (EOI) form to initiate the process.
3. Patience is a Virtue: We meticulously review every EOI to ensure each animal goes to the right home. Thank you for your patience during this critical stage.
4. Meet Your Potential Pet: If your EOI is approved, we'll organise a Meet & Greet session. It’s a great opportunity for both you and the animal to see if it’s a perfect match.
5. Adoption Application & Home Review: If you're ready to move forward, you'll need to complete our adoption application and agree to a home review.
6. Review & Approval: Your application and home review will be assessed to guarantee a secure, loving environment for your potential pet.
7. Adoption Fee: Upon approval, you'll be required to pay the non-negotiable adoption fee. This fee directly supports our animal care efforts.
8. Welcome Home: Once the fee is processed, we'll coordinate the special day when you can bring your new pet home.
