We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Rasta sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!

Hello there, future family!
I’m Rasta, and I’m looking for a new family to call my own. I’m a calm, cuddly cat who cherishes the simple joys in life, and I think we could be a purrfect match!
A Day in My Life:
Do you like to wake up and have a peaceful morning stroll in the garden with the sun touching your face and warming up your skin? I do! I love exploring the outdoors and soaking in the fresh air before enjoying a delicious breakfast. After my meal, I find the sunniest spot to nap in, letting the warmth envelop me as I dream away the day.
As the evening sets in, I come alive with affection. There’s nothing I love more than snuggling up on your lap, feeling your gentle touch with my favourite wire brush. I’m a calm, introverted kitty who adores quiet moments, making me the ideal companion for a cosy night in.
Reasons to Adore Me:
I’m a smoochy cuddle bug who knows how to make you feel loved. Whether it’s through my soft purring, gentle kisses, or rolling around at your feet, I’ll bring joy to your heart every day. I get excited about feather toys, tasty food, and those lovely strokes with my wire brush.
My Ideal Home:
I’m dreaming of a peaceful home where I can enjoy my garden adventures. A place without other pets would be fantastic, and I’d love a family who’s around often to share quiet, loving moments with me. I’m ready to fill your life with warmth, love, and my sweet, smoochy presence.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link) and assists us in continuing to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Home2Home currently operates a pay-what-you-can system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose the adoption fee amount that is most suitable for their situation
Following adoption - change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
