About Mia
A Gentle and Sweet Soul looking for her Forever Home.
At 15 years old, Mia has lived a wonderful life with her loving owner for the past 10 years. Unfortunately, due to her owner's declining health and subsequent move into care for dementia, Mia found herself in need of a new home. With no family members able to take her in, Mia was surrendered to Ninth Life Foundation, giving her the chance to find her forever home.
Mia is a very friendly and affectionate cat who absolutely adores head & under the chin scratches. She always comes out of her snuggle bed to say hello and will happily curl up next to you for a cozy snooze, providing you with companionship and warmth. She also loves playing with toys and chasing noisy balls around.
Mia lived with another cat when she was younger, but she now prefers to be the center of attention. She would thrive in a home where she can be the only pet.
Mia is looking for a loving and peaceful home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by care and affection. If you're looking for a sweet and gentle companion who will bring joy and love into your home, Mia is the perfect match for you.

Adoption details
You need to be a pretty special cat person to adopt an elderly cat into your home. Not as sprightly as a kitten they still require your attention…even devotion. You’ll need to understand their daily routines and take some time to get to know them. Help them with grooming – a great way to bond - as they often don’t have the energy to do it properly themselves. Older cats are stress averse so be patient, observant and take a little more care of their health needs and you’ll soon have a loving companion.
All our cats have received a full health & wellness check and are ready for their new home.
