About Bindi
Hi there, I'm Bindi, a sweet senior dog with a heart full of love to share. I'm an American Staffy cross, and if there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I adore people. My friends often say I'm a sweetheart, and I have to agree! I thrive on affection and companionship, always ready to snuggle up and be your loyal friend.
I'm super friendly with other dogs, too. I think having a canine buddy to share my days with would be absolutely wonderful. We could go on walks together, play in the yard, and enjoy those relaxing afternoons side by side. I've got plenty of love to give, and I'm always ready to make new furry friends.
I get along well with older kids who understand that us senior dogs sometimes need a little extra care and patience. I'm well-mannered and appreciate gentle interactions, so a family that respects my pace and enjoys a calmer lifestyle would be perfect for me.
What I'm really looking for is a home where I can be cherished and adored, just like I deserve. I want to spend my golden years surrounded by love, comfort, and happiness. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will fill your life with warmth and joy, then I'm your girl. Let's make some beautiful memories together!
To book a meet and greet with Bindi please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
