About Milo and Snickers
From a life set to prematurely end to a resilience that could inspire the masses. This is Milo and Snickers.
Milo and Snickers were given a death sentence from the moment they were born. Their innocence was overlooked. Their only charge… being born male on a dairy farm. Each year in Australia, over 400,000 calves born on dairy farms are deemed as “waste” or “surplus.” Male calves are often seen this way as they offer little financial gain to a farmer since they cannot be used for future breeding or milk production. Male calves are often “disposed of” on the farm or sent on a truck to a slaughterhouse within the first few weeks of their life. This is the heartbreaking reality so many calves face each day on dairy farms across Australia.
Milo and Snickers are lucky to now be safe in short-term foster care and two more precious lives have now been spared. Now healthy and full of life, Milo and Snickers are ready to find their forever home where they will be loved as companions, not commodities.

Milo, the smallest of the duo, adores cuddling and can’t resist a good chin scratch. His affectionate nature makes him a joy to be around.
Snickers, just like his foster brother, enjoys neck and chin scratches. Snickers is adapting well and showing signs of becoming a confident, playful calf.
𝑰𝒅𝒆𝒂𝒍 𝑯𝒐𝒎𝒆
The ideal home for Milo and Snickers is one that has good fencing to keep them secure, a shelter to keep them warm and dry, paddocks of pasture to graze upon, and a family to give them the love they deserve. These boys won’t grow horns, making them even more suited for a family environment.
𝑭𝒆𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑹𝒆𝒒𝒖𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔
Milo and Snickers are now weaned calves, perfect for someone who is unable to bottle feed. They no longer require bottle feeding, making them easier to care for and ideal companions.
