About Rocky - 10 Month Old Border Collie (Trial)
Meet Rocky - a wildly handsome and energetic, 10 month old Border Collie.
Rocky was born into care, and has lived his short life with a young family, however, he is now on the look out for his forever fam. His ideal family will be experienced in working breeds and have the knowledge and patience to work through some additional training with him. They must be able to meet his needs, including physical and mental stimulation.
Rocky is a bit of a larrikin - he is young, energetic and a little cheeky at times but he has a heart of gold! His enthusiasm is infectious, ensuring that every moment spent with him is filled with laughter, fun, and an undeniable zest for life!
Rocky lives for playtime - whether it's an intense game of fetch or a spirited round of tug of war, he's always ready and eager! His playful nature extends effortlessly to doggy playmates. Rocky is generally submissive with other dogs and would benefit from having a confident older dog at home to show him the ropes.
He has basic training and can sit, shake, stay and fetch. Rocky is currently demonstrating his mischievous teenage personality, showing signs of becoming mouthy if he doesn’t agree with a command - for this reason, breed experience is essential and only families with older children would be advised.
He loves car rides, especially to the park and dislikes anything that produces loud noises. He is crate trained but due to family circumstances, has only been allowed inside for short stints. He would love to be included in daily family life and have inside time.
Rocky’s adoption fee is $800. He has been desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped. He is in foster care in Sydney area, NSW.
