He's well-suited for older kids as he doesn’t quite understand the importance of staying calm when excitement runs high. Pollux is eager to please and has that typical Kelpie energy, though he's starting to take things a bit easier as he matures. He's fully toilet-trained and comfortable in a crate, making him a breeze to care for at home.

Pollux has been living harmoniously with two large, low-energy dogs and plays well with them, though his playful nature sometimes requires a few gentle corrections from his patient companions. He also shares his space with chickens in a secure run. While he shows typical Kelpie instincts by wanting to herd them through the fence, he isn’t fixated on the chickens and can coexist with them.

He enjoys his outdoor time and would be happiest in a dog-proof yard where he can play fetch with you when you return from your day. He's incredibly smart and would benefit from activities that keep his mind engaged, like agility training or interactive games.
