About Dexter
Dexter is just the sweetest little man but is quite slow to let his personality shine through. He is super shy but that doesn’t stop him from snuggling, he just loves, loves, loves cuddles, he wraps his little front legs around your arms to be cuddled and would happily sit on your lap all day.
He’s quite a chunky little man at almost 7kg so there’s a little more of him to love. He is not bold like his brother Manny and will need a quiet home so this means no young children. Dexter would be very suited to a retired person/couple, home more often than not. Having come from a home with a quite a few other small dogs little Dex has probably never slept alone, so will need understanding and comfort to get him used to it (or I’m sure he’d happily sleep with you in your bed). He’s not used to a lead so training, time and patience will be needed before heading out into the big wide world.
Important fact….!
Dex is a ball player! he loves to chase and fetch and you see him come to life when the word ‘ball’ is mentioned. He is adorable and you’d be hard pressed to find a sweeter little man than Dexter
Dexter is ready to find his perfect match, located in foster care in Raymond terrace NSW. His adoption fee is $500 and he's a fox terrier: Jack Russel sort of mixture.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
