Zanzi

Hi! My name is Zanzi, and my favourite things in life include food, food and food.

You know how important it is to give yourself a little treat? Experts say it can promote self-care and happiness, and you know what? I really feel you’re key to helping me achieve that.

It doesn’t have to be much – some extra chicken here, a dog biscuit there – but slip those things my way and watch my sense of wellbeing grow! I’m mad for food! But pats, scratches and kind words also very welcome!

I’m happy to be around most other dogs, but you may need to just keep a close eye on me at first as I can be a bit bouncy!

I think I’ll be happiest in a quieter home where someone is home more often than not. I tend to freeze a bit if I feel overwhelmed, but I’m sure that won’t be too much of a problem – what with you and those delicious treaty-treats around!

Our matchmakers go to greyt lengths to match each hound with the right family to make sure everyone's happy, and you'll become part of a wonderful rescue community with lots of support along the way!

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated, and heartworm tested/treated. The adoption fee also includes our New Adopter Kit - collar, leash, muzzle and loads of other goodies to help you get your new hound settled into the family.
