About Inky
Here’s Inky! A curious and affectionate feline friend, full of energy and ready to steal your hearts.
Inky is a true gem whose shiny black coat, adorned with hidden black lines that reveal themselves in sunlight, will lure you at first sight. Her light amber eyes, glowing warmly from her inky fur, add the finishing touches to her beautiful, petite physique.
Inky is a lively character who adores her wand toys. She’s been known to grab them and dash under a chair, growling adorably to safeguard her newfound 'prey.' She’s an expert climber and loves to get up close with humans, often venturing to your shoulders to purr to her heart’s content.
When she's ready to relax after all that climbing and playing, she'll snooze on your lap using you as her personal, comfortable pillow. She seeks solace in her cat bed and near the fireplace, taking full advantage of the warmth they offer. You'll also often spot her snuggled on the living room couch in the evenings, engrossed in nature documentaries with her lucky human companions.
Inky isn't fond of water surprises while she's playing with her drinking fountain, and the loud vacuum cleaner isn't her best friend. But don’t worry, these little quirks only make her all the more endearing.
Inky is a real people's cat, following her humans everywhere, be they big or small. She bonds exceptionally well with kids, knowing their endless energy matches hers for play sessions. Inky is also used to the company of dogs, having grown up alongside a pug in her early days.
The ideal home for Inky is one that offers lots of love, playtime, and a warm, comforting lap for her to nap on. She promises in return to light up your life with her endless affection and acrobatic antics. Based in Little Bay, Inky is healthy and ready to meet her new family.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
