Hi there, my name is Harken! I’m a spunky little guy who is hoping you’re ready to open your heart and home to a playful and affectionate fur baby like me!

Play time is my absolute favourite time of the day! Whether it’s chasing after the ball, chewing on a kong, playing tug of war or wrestling with my foster sister, I just love it all! I am so lucky because I have 2 doggy foster siblings here that I can play with whenever I want. In my new home I’d love to have a doggy friend who I can wrestle with! I’m still learning the polite way to introduce myself but after a slow introduction I’m sure we would be the best of buds!! I’ve met and played with 10 dogs of different sizes while here and had the best time with them all

But don't let my love for playtime fool you. I’m an affectionate boy who loves nothing more than cuddling up to my humans on the couch for a snooze. In my new home, I’d love to sleep inside. My favourite place would be in my bed right beside yours (or on yours would be even better!) My foster mum says I don’t know what personal space is but I don’t understand what that means, I just know that there’s nothing better than belly rubs and snuggling right up by their side!

When I first came to my foster home I didn’t know much, but I’ve learnt so much in only the few weeks I’ve been here! I sit and wait patiently for my food, sleep through the night, am toilet trained, crate trained and even know how to use the doggy door! I’m non destructive when left home with my foster siblings while my humans work, usually just taking myself inside and outside as I please to snooze! I still need help learning the rules of this ‘going on a walk’ thing but I am so eager to learn! The excitement of seeing a new potential bestie on a walk can make me shout ‘hello’! but I am quickly redirected with a tasty treat!

I am looking for loving and caring humans who understand the commitment it takes to raise a happy and healthy pup like me! A confident owner who is committed to ongoing training with lots of positive reinforcement will help me grow into the best dog I can be. I would thrive in an environment where I will receive lots of love, attention, mental stimulation, and regular exercise.
