On Hold
About Missy - 18 Month Old Catahoula (Hold)
Missy is a purebred Catahoula who was bred for working (from imported semen), but she just isn't that type of girl. This 18 month old just wants to be a family dog.
Missy who has known life only living outdoors, has made herself at home on the lounge and even loves to share my bed. Missy is a little sweetheart, though a bit nervous at first with any new experiences, she is going well. Missy is good with other dogs, friendly and non reactive. Missy is great with kids and loves her daily walks. Missy has learnt to be house trained.
Missy would love nothing more than to be your shadow, follow you wherever you may decide to go. Having grown up on a rural property, Missy is coping well with the strange noises and fast movements all around her. Missy is a quiet little soul but full of cuddles and kisses when she gets to know you.
Missy is in foster care in Singleton, NSW and as she not yet desexed due to being in season very recently. Missy is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) , Upper Hunter (Singleton and Muswellbrook) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing in around 6 weeks time. Missy is vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $500 and includes the cost of desexing.
