About Bonny
Hi. My name is Bonny and I am a bit nervous about all this attention that I'm getting. You see I'm a Maremma x Australian Shepherd and we normally are a little bit shy when we first meet someone or go somewhere new. But it doesn't take long before I'll be leaning on your legs for a pat or trying to get up on the lounge for a cuddle.
I'm a big girl but I'm also gentle and kind. I am coming out of my shell with my foster mum and she is training me to do lots of new things, which I just love. Some of the new things that I have learned are sit and stay - my foster mum says I'm excellent with these commands.
I also have a foster fur brother that I am learning to play with and he's a lot of fun. I'm doing things that I've never done before - like playing zoomies and wrestling and playing tugga. I would love to keep on doing these things with my new family if they have another dog - I love having a big brother.
I have been told that all my medical and health checks are good and that I'm in perfect health. Except for the one thing that is missing - my own family. I would love to have my own home with maybe some children who know how to play gently with me and I promise I will try very hard not to lay down on them.
My training is going well - I have learned to walk really well on a lead and walk to heel. My recall is still a little bit of hit and miss - sorry about that - I just get distracted with the sun on my face, birds in the air and yummy smells that I just need to know where they are coming from. I also know that I can only go to the toilet outside.
I'm ready to go - I want to find my family. I want my own people to pat me and rub their hands through my beautiful coat and to proudly introduce me to their other friends as their big girl Bonny.
Do you have room for me in your home and your hearts?
Love
Bonny
