About Patches
We are excited to introduce you to Patches one of our little Australian Cattle Dogs.
When Patches initially came into care she was skinny, frightened and very timid. Since then she has blossomed into a confident and happy young lady: running, playing and wrestling all day with her foster brother, eating like there is no tomorrow and generally having a wonderful time. Patches is showing us she is now the queen of mischief and if there is anything naughty going on, Patches is usually at the forefront. She makes us laugh at her antics - she can be so crazy at times.
Patches is a very confident young lady so her training will need to continue to ensure she doesn't become too bossy. Ideally we would like to see her go to a family where there is an older dog who can guide her and teach her manners. She will respect boundaries that are set by her humans and her older fur sibling.
She is walking well on a lead, sleeps happily in her crate overnight and is toilet trained. Her recall isn't too bad but will need ongoing training.
Patches has a lot of energy so will need a good yard, a good fence and plenty of exercise and activity. She has a gorgeous nature and can be quite cuddly and gentle at times. She also loves playing with the hose or in any water, gobbling up her puppacino when out and about and especially loves to end a big day of playing and eating with a cuddle at night.
We would love to find Patches her forever home as she is now ready to share her life with her forever family.
