About Melody
Melody is a gentle, calm, beautiful soul. Now that she's raised her kittens, she is ready to find her forever home with someone who she can love forever.
She was really just a baby herself when she had her kittens, but she's been an amazing mum. She's calm and patient with not just her kittens, but also the people in her life.
She loves meeting people. She loves to sit at the front window and say hello to people passing by and if they come in and give her a pat then that's even better.
Because she's still really a kitten herself, she still loves to play with toys, and loves the laser pointer and anything that dangles.
There aren't any kids in her foster home but she's happy to play with any that visit so she'd be fine in a house with kids. She's also good with other cats. She's so chilled she'd probably be fine with just about anything!
Do you have a home for this beautiful girl?

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
