Hello humans, my name is Bart (Barty) and I wasn't having a very good time until recently. You see I was living under a house, cold and injured when the Angels rescued me. Boy did I hit the jackpot - I've now got a lovely shiny coat, I'm super handsome and my Foster Mum says I've got a Barry White purr - deep and melodious, I'm quite a catch really!

Nature
It took me a little while to get used to living in the house instead of under it, but now that I've discovered that hoomans are OK, and I've discovered the good life indoors, I'm loving life. My Foster Mum and Dad both agree that I've turned into the most handsomest loving and gentle house panther ever. I've gotten really good at doing head boops and love a cuddle and smooch with my foster pawrents, and sometimes I chat to them in my squeaky little boy voice.

I'm a quirky fun loving panther now, I love playing chasey with my 'girlfriend' a little kitten who has taken a shine to me - (well who wouldn't?) we like to chase the toy mice and other fluffy toys, and oh boy - tunnels. I love the tunnel, fluffy wand toy and table tennis balls. When I've finished playing I like to snooze for a while and recharge in a comfy spot, somewhere nice and sunny, or high up on the cat tree.

Companions (Children, Cats & Dogs)
I currently live with several other cats. I haven't met any doggies or children so would probably be suited to a home without children or dogs. Older children might be okay though.

Likes / Dislikes
Food - I love my food and will drop hints for more please. I love attention from my hoomans, give me a good smooch and stroke and I'll give you head boops, tail hugs and body slams. I'm also always the perfect gentleman with my litter tray.

I'm a litle wary around new people/visitors, so I usually disappear until they have left and I definitely don't like that loud thing called a vacuum cleaner. I find a safe place to hide when that comes out but once it’s all quiet again I'm back out in no time. I'm also not keen on having my photo taken, I get scared when you point your phone at me.

My PURR-fect home would be with a mature family that will give me time to settle in, as I might be a little cautious at first. It won’t take me long to adjust though if you could help gain my trust with the odd treat or two (or three) you'll be getting tail hugs and body slams in no time. I'd be happy to have a friendly cat/kitten companion to live with, although I don't think I'd mind being an only cat either, as long as I get lots of love, cuddles and treats.

Perth Rescue Angels recommends all cats are indoor only, unless they have access to a secure cat enclosure.

Medical Notes: Bart had a dental scale and polish in September 2023 which included removal of 2 teeth (right side upper canine and lower left molar).
