Puppy (On Trial)

puppy is a chihuahua x terrier approx 3yo. This little boy is a real champion. He loves other dogs and loves to play with my whippet and really holds his own. He has a quirky thing that he does when he is excited: he runs around with one front paw in the air and a big smile on his face it's a joy to watch!!!!!

puppy loves to go for a walk but is just as happy hanging out with you. He came to me a frightened little ball of misery but with lots of love and company and attention he has blossomed!. . . Puppy can be a bit timid at first and he has limited vision in his right eye. But once he has got his bearings he can navigate his environment and tear around and play like a young pup. He isn't afraid of thunderstorms but doesn't like loud voices or sudden loud noise, maybe a legacy of his past life. He loves his food and eats pretty much anything. He doesn't bark very often. . . . He would make the perfect mate for someone who is at home but puppy is quite happy to go out in the yard as long as he knows you are coming back. Puppy would love to be homed with another dog. I don't think kids would be his thing - maybe a retired person or couple would suit him better. This great dog is a survivor and deserves a great forever home.
