About Tilley
Meet Tilley: Your Future Furry Friend
Tilley is a beautiful 5-year-6-month-old Ragdoll with a loving and friendly disposition. She is currently seeking a new forever home where she can be the only cat. Tilley thrives on human attention and adores being the center of affection. She's a gentle soul who will quickly capture your heart with her affectionate nature.
However, Tilley has been experiencing some issues with using a litter tray, likely due to the presence of other cats in her current home. She may be uncomfortable sharing the same space with them, which has affected her litter habits. Therefore, we recommend Tilley as a farm cat or in a home with an outdoor area where she can roam freely and have the option not to use a litter tray if she prefers.
In a home where Tilley is the only cat, she may revert to using a litter tray, but this cannot be guaranteed. Her new family should be understanding and patient as she adjusts to her new environment.
Tilley would do well in a household with children who are respectful of her space and can give her the time she needs to settle in comfortably. If you're looking for a loving and devoted companion who enjoys human interaction and can adapt to an outdoor lifestyle, Tilley is the perfect match for you.
Give Tilley the loving forever home she deserves, and she will reward you with endless affection and companionship.
To book a meet and greet with Tilley please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
