About Angel STA012788
Meet Angel, a lady boasting a stunning silver spot coat that glistens as she elegantly moves around. Despite her beauty, Angel is initially very shy and timid when encountering new people or environments. But, rest assured, once she gains trust, she rewards you with loving affection.
Angel thrives on gentle attention; her ideal day includes sharing quiet moments with you, perhaps snuggling close as you indulge in a good book or enjoy some television time. Her purring and a gentle nudge with her head against your hand indicate her request for a gentle pat or brush. She will take time to build trust, but once she does, she'll be your loyal companion for life.
Angel may benefit from the company of a confident and gentle feline friend. A partner in crime may help her realize that humans can indeed be loved and trusted, helping her adjust to her new life more easily.
One of the more endearing aspects of Angel is her powerful and expressive meow. Displaying oriental/Bengal traits, she communicates her needs and desires with a voice you won't be able to forget. It's part of her quirky charm.
Angel's ideal new family would be able to offer her a quiet and stable home, where she can recover from her initial shyness at her own pace. A home without children or canines, allowing her to blossom in her own time. Patience will be key in building a bond with Angel, but the reward of her trust and affection is worth every moment.
Medical notes
Minor Dental Disease
Angel has minor pre-existing dental disease. At the moment, there is only a very mild build up of tartar and a dental is not indicated. There is a small chip from the tip of the upper right canine tooth. Xrays have been performed and show no disease of this tooth at present.
Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
