About Wonton
Wonton is the name, my crate is the game!
Hey all y’all, I am a little boy from a litter of four, a staffy cross type breed. I potter around quite a bit, doing my own thing. My siblings are cool, but I just enjoy a bit of quite time by myself, is all. I wouldn’t be scared of going to the cinema alone! I am the smallest – the runt, if you will – but my personality is huge!
I am a little shy when it comes to people though. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy a good
snuggle, but I take a bit of time to warm up. I would like a human who has some experience with dogs and has the time to be patient with me, and let me explore the world and build up my confidence a little. We will be best friends – that I know for sure – but it may just take me a little bit longer than my siblings.
I am part of the “Dumpling litter” as our foster carers call us. We were found on the side of the street, wet, cold and hungry. But the nice people at Ballarat shelter took us all in, and we’ve now spent a week with our fummer and fadder (that’s what we call our fake-mummer and fake-dadder, because they’re only looking after us temporarily). I get on great with the bigger dogs in our foster home and while I was a little shy to start with, I now enjoy interacting with my foster humans. Because I’m only a baby, I will get on fine with children in a household as well.
We are now all ready to find our forever homes, and maybe you have that home? Will you send an application now, pretty please?
Big snores from your boy W.
(Due to potential high demand for the "Dumpling Litter" please only send enquires through to our email: animalshelter@ballarat.vic.gov.au
Enquires made through pet rescue will not be considered. Give us an outline of your living situation, experience and why you would make an amazing home for one of these young pups. Applicants preferably are within the City of Ballarat (or surrounds) as we will have to place the pups into "foster to adopt" until they are old enough to be desexed.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
