About Demi
Meet Demi,
Demi is such a gentle girl with a big heart. She is super sweet & agreeable. Demi is a friendly & social girl who loves her carers and loves to purr and give head butts. She loves any attention you can give her & in return she too will shower you with love, affection & adoration.
She may be a quiet girl but don’t let this fool you – Demi is outgoing, confident & playful.
Demi is a perfect match for people who are new to cat ownership. She is easy going and is suitable for any household environment, too.
Demi is open to meet kids and she LOVES to be picked up, carried, cuddled & petted. She doesn’t have a favourite place to be petted either, she will gladly take anything from the tip of her nose to the tip of her tail. Demi claims that being petted is the best thing in the whole entire universe.
Demi may show how much she appreciates you but doing ultra gentle love-bites. This is nothing to be alarm about as you can barely feel them, but it is worth noting…
Demi came in with three little kittens and she doesn’t appear to be too miffed about meeting other cats either. Demi is so easy-breezy so we think with a slow introduction to other cat friends she will be fine.
In this environment though it is hard for us to test how Demi would go living with a dog, this would be up to the discretion of her new owners.
As also we recommend that Demi be an inside cat. Her personality can definitely handle the outside world, but an inside cat is also a happy cat & above all is safe. Demi way wander off if she is outdoors, she may get lost, injured, or worse. Demi would be happy inside, safe with a comfy bed, the lounge or even your lap!
Demi has medium energy levels – when she is not snoozing you may catch her gently batting around a mouse toy, but she would much rather a cuddle & some praise for being the ‘World’s Best Girl’…
When it comes to food, Demi may be a little fussy – she may graze on her dry food throughout the day & she likes wet food but seems to only like the gravy. We have had some success feeding her mousse wet food though. As for treats? She prefers pats…
Demi is a clean girl who always uses her litter tray.

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
The adoption fee for dogs covers C3 vaccination, health check, heartworm testing, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
The adoption fee for cats covers F3 vaccination, health check, desexing, micro-chipping, and registration.
