About Maple STK012712
Meet Maple, a sweet girl who's looking forward to finding a home where she can flourish. Maple will need time to adjust to new environments and meet new people, so she'll appreciate a patient and understanding family. In return, her loyalty and love will grow to boundless proportions. Her tender and caring nature truly makes her unique.
Maple loves the comfort and companionship of other cats. Her brothers, Honey and Caro, both share a close bond with her and it would be a dream come true if one of them could join her in her new home. Alternately, a household with a friendly existing feline would be a great fit for our girl Maple. This will provide her a companion who can show her the ropes and help her ease into her new surroundings.
The ideal home for Maple will be one that echoes with calmness and serenity. She isn't a fan of overly active surroundings filled with lots of hustle and bustle. Rather, she would prefer a home without young children or canines who might startle her. A peaceful home with a steady routine and lot's of cozy spots is what she dreams of.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
