Mintie

Who doesn't love a Golden Oldie? We know we do!

Mintie was a stray that came to the shelter and no one came looking for her. It is just unbelieveable that at 10 years old she has found herself homeless and missing the one thing she clearly wants, a family to spend her golden years with.

Mintie is incredibly sweet-natured despite her age. She loves cuddles and enjoys being around people. Gentle and affectionate are the two words we would most associate with her. She is well-trained and responds to visual and verbal cues and has good manners. What a pleasure to be around!

This wonderful senior gal would be more than suitable to laze her days away with or without a doggo companion. Every now and then she gets a burst of energy and having a companion dog in the home to play with would help keep her soul young. If you do have a existing dog we would love you to bring them in to The Lost Dogs' Home to meet Mintie.

Mintie loves everyone that she meets, she doesn't discriminate and is easy to please. A gentle pat, a warm bed and some sneaky treats will win her over in an instant. Mintie may also be suitable with children providing that there is supervision to ensure both children and dog boundaries are respected. Children are more than welcome to come in and meet Mintie too!

Old lady Minite has a couple of age related health conditions such as osteoarthritis but other than that she is still happy and loving life!
