About Marowak
Marowak's new home will require:
- A specific puppy diet to help him grow into a healthy adult dog.
- Toys, chews and enrichment games to help keep him entertained.
- To be allowed inside with his people and to sleep of a night.
- A safe secure yard.
- A confident desexed dog (not a puppy or senior), and needs to be tolerant as Marowak loves to chew on dogs ears, lick their ears and lay on them.
- Marowak will benefit from confidence training.
- Marowak is likely to grow to be a medium to large adult dog.
Marowak is your happy best friend who likes to be with you all the time. His favourite things are to cuddle on the couch, play with his chew toys, pulley games and eating. He is highly food motivated and easy to train as a consequence. He's almost fully toilet trained, can hang on overnight and is starting to sit at the door to ask to be let outside. He has big paws so we're not sure how tall he's going to get, at the moment he's about the same size as a border collie.
He walks well on the lead with no pulling but has started to bark at people and dog, and he will need training around this. He can be a little scared at first when meeting new dogs and people but quickly warms to them. He gets on well with his foster dog brothers although can be a bit annoying at times. He'll be fine living with a dog savvy cat. He doesn't jump but likes to run to greet people at the door. His recall is excellent in the house and he's working on it at the park. He's more interested in being with his family than socialising most of the time.
He's learning to love the car and travels well. He'd like a family who is going to include him in their activities and definitely wants to sleep inside. If there are kids in the family he'd probably be best with primary aged children and above as he can be a bit excited like all pups. He isn't a high energy dog and has needed a half hour walk a day to be content.

Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy.
