About Juliet
Juliet is a spirited ball of puppy fun and cuddles, who has lit up her foster home with her smart and loving antics. She has shown to adjust to the routine of her carers current lifestyle and shows great social skills with both the smaller more grumpy dog and the 25kg dog within the home. She loves to wrestle and frolic in between nap time and food snack breaks and we think she would benefit from a home with another friendly canine friend.
She has learnt "sit" and "lay down" commands, and is now working on "roll over". She is beginning to come when called. She understands she isn't allowed to jump on our lounges (which was a shock to her at first) and respects this rule of ours. Being so smart she will need a home committed to keeping her mentally and physically stimulated to meet her needs and avoid undesirable behaviours.
She currently sleeps in a material play pen at night and wakes up her carers when she needs the toilet overnight so she's well on the way to full toilet training.
She is a big strong ball of puppy energy but has been given well trained calm visits to the cats of the foster home, they are in their own enclosures but she is learning all about how to interact nicely with them and may even suit sharing a home with some cats.
She has also been sharing her foster home with some dog savvy kids and loves them and their toys. Oops!
She would benefit from puppy preschool in her new home to continue to learn fun new experiences are not scary. Car rides and social visits to the vets and Bunnings have been added to her socialisation calendar and she is slowly getting better each trip.
Juliet is located in the Newcastle NSW area; she is currently 8 weeks old and around 7kg in size and is likely going to be a large girl. Her mum was a stunning Merle coloured Great Dane x, and her dad was a pure German shepherd. Her adoption fee is $650 and she is ready to start meeting her new family.
