🐾 Personality:
Chester is a sweet and gentle soul. ❤ He's like a delicate flower that simply needs the right environment to bloom.
Chester needs a quiet home away from the cities and sububs with no kids under 12 -years-of-age, and with another dog to show him the ropes.
Although Chester tends to be a bit timid and nervous around new people, he has shown enormous capacity for love and affection, especially when he gets to know and trust those around him. He may exhibit shyness around new people and environments, but he truly shines when given the time and patience. Once Chester gets to know you, and feels safe, he will snuggle up next to you for some gentle pats.

His perfect home would be one where he has another dog as he is more comfortable when there is another dog around, he absolutely loves to play with other dogs and would make a great best friend for any dog.
Chester would thrive in a quiet home with no children under 12-years-of-age. He needs a calm, patient family that understands his need for decompression and gradual confidence-building. This loving boy would appreciate a serene environment where he can truly relax and work on becoming the best version of himself.
*Preference will be given to homes within 2 hours of Coffs Harbour so we can continue to provide support during the transition period.
🎓 Training:
Chester's foster parents have been working with our trainer and he has shown remarkable progress.
He knows sit and is toilet trained. He walks okay on the lead but is still working on his loose leash walking. With consistent training this will improve. He sleeps on his bed on the floor where he has access to outside.
Chester needs a committed owner that is willing to continue with his training and socialisation.

As a young working breed Chester needs an active home that is dedicated to his ongoing training, socialisation, mental stimulation & exercise.

~As a working breed I will need lots of mental & physical stimulation. How to do
plan to meet those needs?
~ Have you done any training with other dogs? If so what training have you and
your previous/current dog completed?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits & raw, can you
guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?
