Benson is a 44 kg male Maremma with a heart as big as his fluffy white coat. As a guardian dog, Benson's loyal and protective nature shines through, making him a wonderful companion. He loves people and gets along great with other dogs, always eager to make new friends.
🐾 Personality:
This gentle giant is a fantastic guardian dog who adores people and other dogs, making him a perfect fit for a farm setting to protect. Benson is house trained and has a laid-back attitude, though he prefers to come when called at his own pace. He's incredibly loyal to his animals and doesn't get easily spooked, although he isn't a fan of flying birds. Benson thrives when he has a job to do and needs a working home where he can stay active and engaged. It's important to note that he isn't keen on high visibility work wear, so a more traditional working environment would suit him best.
🎓 Training:
Benson is house trained and has a unique personality—he comes when called, though at his own leisure, and isn't phased by much, except for flying birds which he's not particularly fond of. Benson would thrive in a working home where he can have a job to do, keeping busy and fulfilled. He has a particular dislike for high visibility work wear, so a home without that would be ideal. Fences are a must for Benson, as he will take a stroll to see what else is around. If you're looking for a devoted, affectionate, and slightly stubborn furry friend, Benson is the perfect addition to your family farm!

~As a working breed I will need lots of mental & physical stimulation. How to do

~ Have you done any training with other dogs? If so what training have you and
your previous/current dog completed?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits & raw, can you
guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?
