About Latte
This beautiful girl is so silky, just like the coffee she is named after!
Latte is a very sweet and lovely girl who bonds strongly with her humans. When you build your relationship with her, she is the most loyal and loving companion who will do anything for you. Latte loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. You can often find her sprawled out across her foster carer’s lap or snuggled up with her doggy friends. Latte is a very inquisitive puppy who loves to play and is confident in familiar environments. She enjoys playing with toys, either with the other dogs or by herself. This happy girl is bound to share her happiness with you and put a smile on your face.
Latte came to us from a pound in far western NSW where she ended up with her litter mates. While in foster care, Latte has been living with two other adult dogs who have been showing her the ropes. She loves their company, often snuggling up with them on the couch, and she also loves to play with them. There are lots of bitey face games and rumbling going on between them. Latte enjoys meeting new dogs when out and about to make new friends. She will need regular socialisation, preferably in the form of playdates with other known friendly dogs in a controlled environment. Latte is expected to grow to a larger medium size (around 20-25kg at a guess) and will need daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep her healthy and happy.
Latte has begun her basic training while in care and she is such a smart cookie. She is very food motivated and responsive. Latte can already sit, lay down and is now learning touch. She thrives with routine and knows exactly where to go for her meals and is doing well with her toilet training. Out and about she has grown in confidence and is walking well on the lead. She is still a bit shy when meeting strangers but warms up quickly if she is in a familiar environment. Her new owners will need to be committed to her ongoing training and development. There is so much out there for a little puppy to learn!
Latte travels well in the car and, once bonded with you, would love to accompany you on adventures and outings. She will do best in a home where she is walked in a quieter environment, at least to begin with as she can still be a little overwhelmed by loud noises. Latte is not suited to the hustle and bustle of the inner-city so a home in the suburbs or a rural setting would be ideal. At home, she is going to be a wonderful companion to have around and would be great company for someone who works from home.
We are looking for a dog experienced home for Latte where she will be a loved member of the family. She would do great in a home with a friendly adult dog who is already fully trained and ready to be a good role model for her. Latte can live as an only dog as well where someone is home more often than not, but will need support and guidance in the transition period as she is used to having other dogs around. She should be allowed inside to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night.
Latte would be best suited to an adult only home, or one with older children who are able to participate in her training. She is not suited to unit living as she loves to tell you how much fun she is having when she plays with the other dogs. Being a puppy, she is young enough to be integrated with other types of pets as long as she is given the appropriate training and guidance, particularly during the introductory phase. Latte is a really beautiful dog who will do really well with someone willing to build a strong foundation of skills with her as she will do anything in return for that special someone.

This puppy will be adopted out under a desexing contract that will require the dog to be desexed by a given age. The cost of desexing will be included as part of the adoption fee. A $250 desexing bond will be payable in addition to the adoption fee and will be refunded upon proof of desexing. This process is further discussed with successful applicants.
Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
