About Bronte
Do you have room in your heart on the couch and a spare spot on the bed that is Frenchie size? Then I'm the girl for you
My foster mum says I'm the sweetest most gorgeous girl in the world and she really isn't bias because it is true!!!
I have come into care due to personal reasons from my family, but was loved very much.
I am a 2 year and 6 month old French Bulldog
I absolutely love life, I love people and love having a fur siblings to wrestle and play with - I'm always up for fun but who isn't right?
As a typical Frenchie I do need to be an inside girl with access to outside but I'm pretty clever and can use a doggie door when I want to have a little sunbake or case of the zoomies or just to do my lady business.
My foster mum says I have the typical Frenchie speeds - play hard and have fun and then calm quiet snooze time - I’m a pretty simple girl who just loves life.
I currently live with my foster mum and family, she works from home and she says I’m an awesome help by snoozing in the office while she sleeps, or going out and playing / wrestling with my sibling while she works - I can definitely entertain myself while she's earning the biscuit money.
I love when my foster mum finishes work as it means a good cuddle and even better when kids are around for me to snuggle with!
I am good in the car and enjoy a ride but really really love a walk and if your keen I would love to spend days at the beach with you - my foster mum says the beach is my happy place!
Now I would not a true Frenchie (ha ha ha) if I didn't have some skin allergies - but I am on apoquel and happily take that tablet with any piece of food I am offered. I can get ear infections if I am not on my medication and will scratch myself silly so please note apoquel is a requirement for my health.
My foster mum says I have an awesome appetite and eat so gently when offered my meds.
I have not been tested with cats and my foster my foster mum says I would probably chase them wanting to be friends but better with a home with no cats.
I currently live with other Frenchie’s and I do love to play and wrestle and tug of war and chasey and every other fun thing you can do with your siblings. There is a few that I hang with and have been really good with all of them.
I absolutely love to sleep on the bed with my humans and have been known to snuggle so close that my foster dad asks if I’m wearing his skin.......... I am also happy to sleep with another dog on a dog bed but we have been known to play thru the night when we get energetic. My foster mum and dad say we sound like baby elephants but cute baby elephants!
I would love a home with a family with kids, I would love a home where they are happy to do walks and I would omg so love a home where I could have access to the beach!
My foster mum says that I need to say that while I have an ongoing expense (apoquel) the love I show my humans and life makes it such a small expense in the scheme of living.
Would you be interested in welcoming me into your home with my whole heart?

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
