About Scrumptious
Meet Scrumptious, a 1-year-old female Kelpie mix of medium to large size. Scrumptious has a very nervous and timid disposition, especially in new environments and around new people. Initially quite shut down and reserved in the shelter, her loving and sweet personality started to shine through after a few days.
Scrumptious will require a patient owner who will allow her to warm up at her own pace and avoid pushing her into uncomfortable situations. Once she settles in, she is adorable, seeking nothing more than to sit between your legs, give you a lick, and receive some pats.
Due to her nervous tendencies, Scrumptious is best suited for a home with children 13 years and older, as they need to understand dog behaviour and body language. Younger children who may be too intense or unable to interpret her signals would not be a good fit.
Scrumptious gets along well with other dogs, especially those that are calm and neutral. She is not suited to live with overly rambunctious or in-your-face dogs.
Scrumptious may have had a rough start and is now looking for a loving, patient family to show her that the world isn't a big scary place and that she is safe. Come meet Scrumptious today, and you'll absolutely fall in love with her gentle spirit and sweet nature.

Adoption details
We are not open to walk ins, appointments by booking only. All households members must be present before we can adopt an animal out.
As our goal is to adopt animals out from the shelter into loving homes as fast as possible, multiple bookings may be made for the same animal.
We are not able to hold any animals for any reason.
As such, there is a possibility that the animal you may have found a forever home before your appointment. If this is the case we will inform you by phone call as soon as possible.

For serious enquires we are able to accommodate to outside our normal appointment hours if we have notice. Please call us to arrange a time.
