About Valentino
Valentino came to us as a timid and scared little terrier mix, but thanks to the loving care of his foster family, he has truly blossomed into a confident and affectionate companion. Initially wary of new people and other animals, Valentino has now learned to trust and even enjoy meeting strangers on his daily walks.
Valentino is a gentle soul who thrives on human companionship and praise rather than treats. He has a calm demeanour and walks beautifully on a lead, making him an absolute joy to take on strolls. Although he takes some time to warm up to new people, once he feels safe, he will lean his full body into you, soaking up all the pats and affection you can offer.
While Valentino shows some interest in toys, he's still figuring out how to play with them. What he loves most is being around his people as much as possible. He enjoys quiet moments and being close to those he trusts, offering a soothing presence in return.
Valentino would thrive in a quiet and calm home where he can continue to build his confidence at his own pace. He might be okay living with a very docile dog who won't rush him or even a cat, provided introductions are made slowly and gently. Due to his need for slow introductions and a steady environment, a home without very young children would be best.
Valentino has come a long way from the scared little dog he once was. He deserves a patient and loving forever home where he can continue to grow and thrive. With his gentle nature and love for human companionship, Valentino promises to be a loyal and affectionate addition to a calm and quiet household.
If you have a serene and patient home where Valentino can continue his journey of trust and affection, please reach out to us. This sweet terrier mix is ready to give and receive love, one gentle step at a time.
Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.
