About Prince
Please meet handsome “Prince”
Prince is a handsome little fella who can be a little unsure of his environment and needs a patient, understanding, and confident leader to help him be at ease. He tends to bond quickly to “his” person and will follow you everywhere and be involved in all that you do. He is social with other dogs after he has been given time to adjust and relax and will enjoy playing tug of war with them or chase around the yard.
Prince walks nicely on the lead and enjoys a car ride. He has been gaining confidence and independence whilst in foster care and though it’s been a learning curve for him, he has responded well to training. We are looking for a poodle experienced home with an owner that is confident and experienced with training. He is an extremely lovable and affectionate boy who just needs love and guidance. He does seem to be quite relaxed around older children, but young kids might be a bit much for him at this stage.
Being a poodle Prince will need to be groomed every six weeks so the cost of this will need to be considered. He is well behaved during grooming but prefers a gentle and experienced groomer.
It is a condition in our adoption agreement that all our dogs are to be taken through obedience training to ensure they reach their full potential.

• You have a secure yard.
• Prince will not be alone for more than 5 hrs
• You will enrol Prince in obedience training.
• You will allow Prince to be part of the family and will allow him access to indoors with you.
• You WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please provide the name of the obedience club you will attending and what your experience is with poodles.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
