About Bolt
Meet Bolt! He is a big, friendly, strong boy with a heart as big as his paws and they are big! š¾
He loves every person he meets, and they canāt help but love him back. He just wants to be involved in everything you do. When Bolt sees you, his whole body wiggles with joy. š„°
Bolt hasnāt had the chance to meet kids or cats while in care. š¦š§š±ā
He gets overexcited around other dogs. š¶
He absolutely loves his food š and treats and is a master at destroying soft toys (they just donāt stand a chance!). š¤£
He is currently learning his manners and improving his leash-walking skills, so ongoing training would be ideal. Bolt needs a strong confident leader to show him the ropes. š¦®
Bolt is fully toilet trained š½ā and comfortable staying outside during the day while youāre at work although he would love some enrichment toys/treats š¦“ to keep him busy before he lazes in the sun. š
He must have a home where he lives and sleeps inside with his family but have access to a well fenced yard. š”

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
