About Harper
It’s time to find our special needs Frenchie (18 mths) her very special home.
Harper does have some needs that are very manageable and obtainable.
She does have a congenital deformity in her spine, but has no pain related to it. Needs no medication for it.
She has had a CT scan in our care, with full transparency to her condition.
Her mobility is fantastic but her little legs do flip out occasionally. Only needs 10-15min walks a day. She loves loves the park. Has been desexed and had reconstruction surgery on her deformed tail.
Below is some information from her carer.

My name is Harper, I'm quite the character, I enjoy a good chinwag with you, I love nibbling on your ear when you give me a cuddle and I luuurve my food, kangaroo and pumpkin. I need the pumpkin cos sometimes my poops are a bit hard.
It's taken me a little while to love toys and play fetch now I'm a little obsessed with playing my favourite toy is a lid off a jar, yep I'm quirky.
My bed is my sanctuary I have 2 blankets and 2 teddies which are my best friends.
I get along with other dogs but can be a tad bossy , so I would be happy to be the queen of the house and be spoilt written. I deserve it.
Cuddles are the best especially tummy tickles.
My skin is getting better I need 2 baths a week with malaseb ,I can be a pain in the butt at bath time hee hee.
I work hard at remembering to wee and poop outside but it's going to take a little while...sorry.
Take me to the park and I'll show you how well I can run, and come when you call me, I only need a short walk as my back legs can become a little weary.my medical notes can be found on my profile.
I have lots of love to give, I need someone just as special as I am xx

Harpers new person needs to be someone that understands that she is a work in progress. She has so much love to give, and still learning how to be a dog.
She is crazy, weird, loving and a total goofball. That special person that sees that Harper is that special furkid. She weighs 9.6kg
Harper is on the Gold Coast
Adoption Fee: $400
Medical notes
Harper was born with a congenital spinal condition. Which has no pain.
We have had a CT scan done of her spine and hips.
She walks normally 80% of the time.
Still runs around playing and playing with her fur friends at the park.
She is a typical Frenchie with her skin.
It’s manageable with 2 malesab washes a week.
She is on a diet of pumpkin and kangaroo that agrees with her really well.
She did have a spiral/corked tail that we have had cosmetically removed as it was causing her pain and discomfort to poop. But all good now.
Her toileting is a work in progress.
She does get the sensation to go, but hasn’t fully kicked in quite yet.

Adoption details
We shortlist and contact families who may fit the dogs needs. If indications are positive, normally after sleeping on it, a home check is organised, then an adoption agreement is completed, adoption donation (variable on account of age and health of individual dog) is transferred and the dog will become part of your family.
All our dogs have had a consultation with our vet, are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and treated for fleas. As we want every dog to be in its own family we try and fit dogs into forever homes, we don’t offer “Trials”. Naturally unforeseen circumstances arise occasionally where it’s preferable dogs come back to us as per our adoption agreement.
